Ameritas has two Vision plans: the less expensive plan is best if you don’t go to the eye doctor annually, and your doctor is in the EyeMed Network.
The slightly higher plan is best if you buy new contacts or glasses every year and your doctor is in the VSP network.

Ameritas has three dental plans, each with different levels of benefits and networks.
Almost all, if not all, individual dental plans have phase-in periods before some benefits are paid at total benefit levels. Typically, the higher monthly premiums have shorter waiting periods.
